The Suzuki DR650S was a single cylinder, four-stroke Enduro motorcycle produced by Suzuki between 1990 and 2019. It could reach a top speed of 99 mph (160 km/h). Max torque was 39.83 ft/lbs (54.0 Nm) @ 4600 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 43.99 HP (32.8 KW) @ 6400 RPM.

Engine

The engine was a oil & air cooled single cylinder, four-stroke. A 100.0mm bore x 82.0mm stroke result in a displacement of just 644.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a overhead cams (ohc).

Drive

The bike has a 5-speed transmission. Power was moderated via the wet multiplate.

Chassis

It came with a 90/90-21 front tire and a 120/90-17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single disc. floating rotor in the front and a single disc in the rear. The front suspension was a telescopic, coil spring, oil damped while the rear was equipped with a link type, coil spring, oil damped. The DR650S was fitted with a 3.43 Gallon (13.00 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 324.08 pounds (147.0 Kg). The wheelbase was 58.66 inches (1490 mm) long.

Suzuki had always been ahead of the Enduro competition since the introduction of the DR 650 RS in 1990. The bike comes with a 644 cc, 4 stroke, air cooled, single cylinder, OHC engine which transfers its power to the rear wheel through a wide-ratio 5-speed transmission. The unit is brought to life by an electric starter and breathes through a large MIKUNI 40 mm (1.6 in) carburetor.
