The Suzuki GP125 was a single cylinder, two-stroke Classic motorcycle produced by Suzuki between 1978 and 1981. It could reach a top speed of 73 mph (117 km/h). Max torque was 8.85 ft/lbs (12.0 Nm) @ 7500 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 9.39 HP (7.0 KW) @ 8000 RPM.

EngineEdit

The engine was a air cooled single cylinder, two-stroke. A 56.0mm bore x 50.0mm stroke result in a displacement of just 123.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a rotary valves.

DriveEdit

The bike has a 6-speed transmission. Power was moderated via the Wet multi-plate.

ChassisEdit

It came with a 2.75-18 front tire and a 3.00-18 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single disc in the front and a expanding brake in the rear. The front suspension was a Telescopic, Oil Dampened while the rear was equipped with a Swinging Arm, Oil Dampened. The GP125 was fitted with a 2.64 Gallon (10.00 Liters) fuel tank. The wheelbase was 48.58 inches (1234 mm) long.

This bike its a low cost, economy version of the GT 125/RG 125 single two-stroke. The model name GP was apparently adopted from racing world, the GP 125 shared the bore and stroke dimensions with the 1976/1977 Suzuki RG 500 works racer.
