The Suzuki GSX-R1000 25th Anniversary Edition was a 4-stroke, four-cylinder, liquid-cooled, DOHC, 16-valve, TSCC Sport Bike motorcycle produced by Suzuki in 2010.

Engine

A 73.7mm bore x 73.7mm stroke result in a displacement of just 999.0 cubic centimeters.

Drive

The bike has a 6 Speed, manual, close ratio transmission. Power was moderated via the Wet multi-disc, manual.

Chassis

It came with a 120/70ZR17M/C (58W), tubeless front tire and a 190/50ZR17M/C (73W), tubeless rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Dual 310mm hydraulic disc in the front and a Single 220mm hydraulic disc in the rear. The front suspension was a Front Inverted telescopic, coil spring, spring preload fully adjustable, rebound and compression damping force fully adjustable while the rear was equipped with a Link type, oil damped, coil spring, spring preload fully adjustable, rebound and compression damping force fully adjustable. 2010 brings the 25th anniversary of the liter-class GSX and Suzuki has prepared a special edition bike with astonishing looks. Offered in a limited run, the GSX-R1000 25th Anniversary Edition sports lush golden accents and magnesium-colored parts. Basically, the livery is unlike anything you've seen before on a GSX-R1000, with special graphics which extend to the rims and even the ignition key.


Suzuki only offers 1000 such bikes, and they are individualized with an engraved number plate on the top yoke. No technical differences from the base model.
