The Suzuki GT 250 X7 was a Two stroke, parallel twin, air cooled Classic motorcycle produced by Suzuki in 1978. Max torque was 19.92 ft/lbs (27.0 Nm) @ 7000 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 30.04 HP (22.4 KW) @ 8000 RPM.

Engine

A 53.3mm bore x 53.3mm stroke result in a displacement of just 247.0 cubic centimeters.

Drive

The bike has a 6-Speed transmission. Power was moderated via the Wet, multiplate.

Chassis

It came with a 2.75-18 front tire and a 3.00-18 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Single disc in the front and a Drum in the rear. The front suspension was a Telescopic fork while the rear was equipped with a Twin shocks, springs. The GT 250 X7 was fitted with a 1.06 Gallon (4.00 Liters) fuel tank. The wheelbase was 50.79 inches (1290 mm) long.

The new engine is very compactabout 7.2 kg (16 Ibs) lighter than the previous model. It features Suzuki's Power Reed valve dual induction system which increases engine breathing for better response through the rev range.
