The Suzuki RV125 VanVan was a single cylinder, four-stroke Trail motorcycle produced by Suzuki between 1976 and 2005. It could reach a top speed of 62 mph (100 km/h). Max torque was 9.81 ft/lbs (13.3 Nm) @ 7700 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 11.4 HP (8.5 KW) @ 9500 RPM.

Engine[edit | edit source]

The engine was a air cooled single cylinder, 2-stroke. A 57.0mm bore x 48.8mm stroke result in a displacement of just 125.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a overhead cams (ohc).

Drive[edit | edit source]

The bike has a 6-speed transmission. Power was moderated via the wet multi-plate type.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 130/80-18 m/c 66p front tire and a 180/80-14 m/c 78p rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single disc in the front and a expanding brake (drum brake) in the rear. The front suspension was a telescopic, coil spring, oil damped while the rear was equipped with a swingarm type, coil spring, oil damped. The RV125 VanVan was fitted with a 1.98 Gallon (7.50 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 257.94 pounds (117.0 Kg). The wheelbase was 54.53 inches (1385 mm) long.
