The Suzuki SP370 was the first Suzuki motorcycle with a single cylinder four-stroke engine, if you don't count the short-lived Colleda CO and COX models from the fifties. Unfoirtunately it had a bit too weak angine and it was a bit too expensive to become a great success. Yamaha, for example, could offer a 500cc trail bike for the same money as you had to pay for the SP370.
