The Suzuki SP 600 was a Four stroke, single cylinder, SOHC, 4 valves per cylinder Road motorcycle produced by Suzuki in 1986. Max torque was 36.88 ft/lbs (50.0 Nm) @ 5000 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 43.05 HP (32.1 KW) @ 6500 RPM.
Engine
A 94.0mm bore x 94.0mm stroke result in a displacement of just 589.0 cubic centimeters.
Drive
The bike has a 5-Speed transmission. Power was moderated via the Wet, multiplate.
Chassis
It came with a 100/80 -21 front tire and a 130/80 -17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Single disc 280 mm in the front and a Drum in the rear. The wheelbase was 57.72 inches (1466 mm) long.
1986 Suzuki SP 600
The Suzuki SP 600 is a model of its own, it's only slightly different from the DR600S, aimed for different markets. Comparing the Suzuki SP 600 and DR 600S workshop manuals page for page reveals that the models are identical except for the SP has a vacuum type caburetor and the DR a slide type. The SP manual has also has a four page emissions section, other than that they are identical.
