Suzuki offers another flavor of the 2009 MY SV650S in the shape of an ABS-equipped bike, providing safety-focused riders with better and more secure braking power in times of need. The bike retains all the character of its model year sibling and will effortlessly slice the urban traffic, while delivering a rewarding feel when things become serious, on the highway or around the bends of winding countryside roads.

Light and sporty, the SV650SA ABS also brings the amazing rumble of its 90-degree v-twin power mill to the street game. And if you feel like traveling, you will be impressed to find out that the SV650SA ABS is a really comfy machine even after several hours of riding.

While the 2010 MY SV650S with ts half-fairing was only sold as an Australian model, the rest of the world got the SV650SA ABS machine, easily recognizable by its more ample bodywork. Seen from the front, the SV650SA ABS may look like a fully-faired machine, with the side panels extending down to the belly pan, but they do not extend towards the midship. Even so, the SV650SA ABS looks very sporty and provides enhanced weather protection for the rider.

The engine and chassis are unchanged from the previous bikes, and this means you get the proven middleweight v-twin grunt, long-range comfy seating position and all-rounder streetability. Of course, adding a set of panniers transforms the 2010 MY SV650SA ABS into a worthy sport-tourer, too.

Semi-naked middleweight sport bikes have always represented a major commercial success for Suzuki so seeing the SV650SA ABS carrying through to the 2011 model year is only natural. The bike retains the fun liquid-cooled v-twin engine loaded in a sporty aluminum truss frame and rolling on light cast alloy wheels. ABS brakes enhance the feeling of being in control, while the front upper fairing and windscreen offer better weather protection for longer hauls.

Lightweight, aggressive and still retaining a comfy riding position, the SV650SA ABS is the perfect sporty all-rounder. I can slice the city very well, is mean enough around sharp bends and can also become a travel bike, with extra luggage systems.

Even though now the SV650SA ABS is no longer sold in all the markets Suzuki is present in, the model lives on a very happy life, as the successful recipe behind it has never gone out of fashion. Au contraire, the svelte profile of the 2014 MY SV650SA ABS allures more riders into the world of v-twin-powered sporty bikes, while the naked looks are as successful as ever.

With streetfighter DNA and solid commuter comfort, the SV650SA ABS is a wonderful all-rounder. It will effortlessly slice through the urban jungle on your way to work, carve around canyon bends and blaze along the highway. And with an additional luggage system, traveling in the saddle of the SV650SA ABS is also possible and everything becomes an adventure.

It doesn't take a bike specialist to figure out that the A suffix in SV650SA's name represents an indication for the fact that the bike is equipped with ABS brakes. This motorcycle is the successful result of Suzuki's long-time experience of mixing sport bike agility with the specific character of v-twin engines. Fir for both fast, aggressive hauls on twisty roads and urban slicing, the SV650SA ABS is a neat choice for riders in search of a middleweight bike with a strong sporty vibe, but capable of providing long-range comfort, as well.

With a more upright riding position, the 2015 MY SV650SA ABS carries on Suzuki's tradition in delivering sporty all-rounders for the riders who want almost everything in a single package.
