Engine

The engine was a Air cooled cooled Two stroke, parallel twin. The engine featured a 7.0:1 compression ratio.

Drive

Power was moderated via the Wet,multi-plate.

Chassis

It came with a 2.75-18 front tire and a 2.75-18 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Drum, internal expanding, leading shoe in the front and a Drum, internal expanding, leading shoe in the rear. The front suspension was a Telescopic hydraulic fork while the rear was equipped with a Twin, plunger type hydraulic shocks, swingarm. The T200 Invader was fitted with a 12 L / 3.2 US gal / 2.6 Imp gal fuel tank. The wheelbase was 1270 mm / 50.0 in long.

Suzuki T 200 Invader














Suzuki followed up its sensational T20 Super Six with a 200cc version - the T200 Invader. Introduced in 1967, the T200 was styled like its 250cc brother but subtly scaled down as well as having 'only' five gears and a smaller engine. The latter produced 23bhp, six horsepower down on the T20's but this was nevertheless sufficient to propel the 'junior' twin past 80mph. The T200 lasted in production for four years, being dropped from the range at the end of 1971.
