The Suzuki XN 85 Turbo was a Transverse Four Cylinder, Turbocharged, DOHC, 2 Valves Per Cylinder,Air-cooled, Four-stroke Sport touring motorcycle produced by Suzuki in 1982. Max torque was 56.06 ft/lbs (76.0 Nm) @ 6500 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 85.02 HP (63.4 KW) @ 8000 RPM.

Engine

A 62.0mm bore x 62.0mm stroke result in a displacement of just 673.0 cubic centimeters.

Drive

The bike has a 5-Speed transmission. Power was moderated via the Wet, multiplate.

Chassis

It came with a 100/90-16 front tire and a 120/90-17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via 2x290 Mm Discs 2 Piston Calipers in the front and a Single 265 Mm Disc 1 Piston Caliper in the rear. The front suspension was a 37mm Kayaba, 150 Mm Wheel Travel while the rear was equipped with a Full Floater, One Kayaba Damper. The wheelbase was 58.5 inches (1486 mm) long.

The Turbo was quickly forgotten and Suzuki harbors few fond memories for the bike - Suzuki America does everything short of denying the bike's very existence. Which is a shame cause the XN is a fun-to-ride refined motorcycle that's also proven reliable.
