The TVS RTR450AT Dakar was a single cylinder, four-stroke standard produced by TVS in 2016.
Engine[edit | edit source]
The engine was a liquid cooled single cylinder, four-stroke. A 95.0mm bore x 63.5mm stroke result in a displacement of just 450.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a double overhead cams/twin cam (dohc).
Drive[edit | edit source]
The bike has a 6-speed transmission. Power was moderated via the hydraulic, multidisc in oil bath.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 90/90-21 front tire and a 140/80-18 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single disc in the front and a single disc in the rear. The front suspension was a wp telescopic fork, 52 mm (2.05 in) tubes rebound and compression adjustable while the rear was equipped with a wp progressive, multiadjutable trax rear shock utilizing a linkage and rod system. The RTR450AT Dakar was fitted with a 8.45 Gallon (32.00 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 297.62 pounds (135.0 Kg). The wheelbase was 59.25 inches (1505 mm) long.
