The Triumph Daytona 650 was a 4-stroke, liquid-cooled, DOHC, in-line 4-cylinder Sport Bike motorcycle produced by Triumph in 2005. Max torque was 50.89 ft/lbs (69.0 Nm) @ 11500 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 113.99 HP (85.0 KW) @ 12500 RPM.
Engine
The engine was a liquid cooled 4-stroke, liquid-cooled, DOHC, in-line 4-cylinder. A 68.6mm bore x 68.6mm stroke result in a displacement of just 646.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a double overhead cams/twin cam (dohc).
Drive
The bike has a Gears transmission. Power was moderated via the wet, multiplate.
Chassis
It came with a 120/70 ZR 17 front tire and a 180/55 ZR 17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Twin 308mm floating discs, 4 piston calipers in the front and a 220mm disc, single piston caliper in the rear. The front suspension was a 43mm forks with adjustable preload, rebound and compression while the rear was equipped with a Monoshock with adjustable preload, rebound and compression damping. The Daytona 650 was fitted with a 4.39 Gallon (16.60 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 363.76 pounds (165.0 Kg). The wheelbase was 54.69 inches (1389 mm) long.

The Daytona 650 is the upgraded version of the older 600cc Daytona, as is one of the steps which led to the acclaimed 675 model. Though the Daytona 650 was not maintained in production too long, it provided a good basis for the evolution of the model and the development of the modern Daytona family.
The Triumph Daytona 650 had a classic in-line 4 engine, with a remote gear linkage, a black aluminium exhaust and boasts the race-bred character transposed for street usage.
