The Triumph T140V Bonneville Special was a twin, four-stroke sport touring motorcycle produced between 1973 and 1979. It could reach a top speed of 99 mph (160 km/h). Claimed horsepower was 41.17 HP (30.7 KW) @ 6000 RPM.

The engine was a air cooled twin, four-stroke. A 76.0mm bore x 82.0mm stroke result in a displacement of just 744.0 cubic centimeters. The engine featured a 7.9:1 compression ratio. Fuel was supplied via a overhead valves (ohv).

Drive[edit | edit source]

The bike has a 5-speed transmission. The final drive was via chain.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 4.10-19 front tire and a 4.25/85-18 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single disc in the front and a single disc in the rear. The T140V Bonneville Special was fitted with a 4.89 Gallon (18.50 Liters) fuel tank.
