The Triumph TRIDENT T150V was a Tansverse three cylinder, pushrod OHV, 2 valves per cylinder Classic motorcycle produced by Triumph in 1974. Claimed horsepower was 59.94 HP (44.7 KW) @ 7250 RPM.
Engine[edit | edit source]
A 66.0mm bore x 66.0mm stroke result in a displacement of just 741.0 cubic centimeters.
Drive[edit | edit source]
The bike has a 5-Speed transmission. Power was moderated via the Single plate, dry, diaphragm type.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 3.25-19, Dunlop K70 front tire and a 4.10-19, Dunlop K70 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Hydraulic disc in the front and a SLS drum in conical hub in the rear. The front suspension was a Telescopic fork, hydraulic, oil damped while the rear was equipped with a Swingarm, dual shocks, hydraulic dampers, adjustable preload. The TRIDENT T150V was fitted with a 1.32 Gallon (5.00 Liters) fuel tank. The wheelbase was 57.01 inches (1448 mm) long.
1974 Triumph TRIDENT T150V[edit | edit source]
The next major change came with the 1973 and 1974 T150V, with addition of a much-needed hydraulic front disk brake and the long-awaited 5-speed gearbox, which is what the "V" stands for in the model designation. Styling was cleaned up also, in keeping with the Bonneville line.
