The Triumph TR 6 Thunderbird was a twin, four-stroke allround motorcycle produced between 1971 and 1983. It could reach a top speed of 99 mph (160 km/h). Claimed horsepower was 41.17 HP (30.7 KW) @ 6500 RPM.
Engine[edit | edit source]
The engine was a air cooled twin, four-stroke. A 76.0mm bore x 71.5mm stroke result in a displacement of just 648.0 cubic centimeters. The engine featured a 9.0:1 compression ratio. Fuel was supplied via a overhead valves (ohv).
Drive[edit | edit source]
The bike has a 5-speed transmission. The final drive was via chain.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 3.25-19 front tire and a 4.00-18 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single disc in the front and a expanding brake in the rear. The TR 6 Thunderbird was fitted with a 4.89 Gallon (18.50 Liters) fuel tank.
