Engine
The engine was a Liquid cooled cooled Four stroke, transverse three cylinder, DOHC, 4 valve per cylinder.. The engine featured a 11.3:1 compression ratio.
Drive
Power was moderated via the Wet, multi-plate.
Chassis
It came with a 100/90-19 front tire and a 150/70 R17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via 2 x 308 mm floating discs, Nissin 2-piston sliding caliper, switchable ABS in the front and a Single 255 mm disc, Nissin single-piston sliding caliper, switchable ABS in the rear. The front suspension was a Showa 43mm upside down forks while the rear was equipped with a Showa monoshock with hydraulically adjustable preload. This, in addition to the category-defining core technologies, including ride-by-wire throttle and new premium Brembo front braking system. The new Tiger 800 XRX delivers a full-on road focused adventure every single day. The Tiger XRX low version offers the same great quality and innovative engineering, but is significantly lower, making this class-leading motorcycle accessible to even more riders. The lowered profile has been achieved through a redesigned seat and reduced suspension travel. The Tiger XRXs seat height is reduced by 50mm compared to the standard model, taking the seat height to 760 780 mm. The lowered Tiger XRX boasts a revised radiator guard as well as an aluminum sump guard. Its the first bike in its class to include ABS, traction control and cruise control as standard. Supported by a full ride by wire system for smooth and responsive power delivery, the Tiger 800 also features programmable riding modes . Engine
Triple Engine
Delivering a seamless flow of torque across the rev range, the Tiger 800 is
as perfectly suited to long-distance rides as it is to tackling the tough stuff.
The second generation 800cc engine features a ride-by-wire throttle system which
provides smoother power delivery, better response and lower emissions.
Fuel Efficiency
The new Tiger 800 has a 17% improvement in fuel efficiency that, coupled with
the capacious 19L fuel tank, means you can ride longer.
Gear Box
The gearbox selector mechanism is derived directly from the class leading
Daytona, for quicker smoother shifts.
Accessories
LED Fog Lights
High performance dual Fog Lamp Kit featuring high power Philips Altilin LEDs,
drilled and brushed marine grade aluminum shields and an integrated tubular
mounting rail. Fully waterproof illuminated push button for ease of use in the
worst of conditions.
Low Seat
Low Comfort Rider Seat unit to offer optimum comfort and style. Approximately
20mm lower compared to the standard part, features twin fabric cover,
contrasting stitch detail and Triumph branding to ensure it looks as good as it
feels.
Panniers
These fully weatherproof panniers are made from a 1.5mm thick aluminum
structure, with the enhanced protection of polymer corner reinforcements. Each
Pannier has a capacity of 37 litres, attaching to bespoke mounting frames, using
a quick release mechanism.
Hand guards
Manufactured from durable moulded nylon, Triumph Hand Guards now have
improved wind resistance and finger clearance. Tested in a wind tunnel for
optimum performance.
Handlebar Risers
Offering a height adjustment distance of 30mm, these Handlebar Risers replace
original parts to ensure improved ergonomics for taller riders
Heated Grips
Designed specifically for the Tiger 800, these internally wired Heated Grips
feature dual temperature heat settings, selectable through bar mounted dual
color push button controls.
