The Triumph Tiger Daytona was a twin, four-stroke standard produced by Triumph in 1970. It could reach a top speed of 99 mph (160 km/h). Claimed horsepower was 40.1 HP (29.9 KW) @ 7200 RPM.

The engine was a air cooled twin, four-stroke. A 69.0mm bore x 65.5mm stroke result in a displacement of just 490.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a overhead valves (ohv).
