Drive

The bike has a 5-Speed transmission. Power was moderated via the Wet multi-plate.

Chassis

It came with a 4.10-19 front tire and a 4.10-19 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Single disc 245mm in the front and a Single disc 245mm in the rear. The front suspension was a Telescopic forks while the rear was equipped with a Twin Girling shocks, adjustable preload. The Trident T160 750 was fitted with a 1.32 Gallon (5.00 Liters) fuel tank. The Triumph Trident T160was in production for just three years, but its roots lay in the T150 Trident launched in 1968. There are two major differences between the two models. The first is that the T160 was fitted with both kickstart and electric start (the T150 was kickstart only).
