What the final product will look like. At this point, had not fab'd front down tube and mounts.
At this point, front down tube and mounts are fab'd. Git-r-done.
This is the final product. Test rode 20 miles on 1-27-07. Still some setup issues but basically all there and working well. It keeps its composure on jumps and G-outs. A little lacking total power, but that was expected. Total cost less than $600.
Fabrications: front down tube, cradle removal, head stay, exhaust pipe, muffler, and airbox connector pipe. Total time about 3 weeks+- working evenings and weekends. A really neat project that is totally different, old school, and works well.
