Honda CB77

Hey Ben-

Do you own, or know who owns, the red Honda CB77 that you have pictured? I have been looking for a project bike and that one looks perfect.

Sorry I don't know whose that is. :-(--Budlight 20:23, 24 October 2006 (PDT)

Plugged CC on my Podcast

Hi Ben, I've included a little plug on my latest show #22 about this cool Wiki you've done up. You can DL and listen to the show here: http://www.thetwistedwrist.com or subscribe (for free) through iTunes. If you like what you hear, and would like to be interviewed for a future show, let me know through the email link on the website. TimothyPilgrim 12:11, 14 November 2006 (PST)

Hey I've been meaning to say thanks for the plug, I listened to your podcast a few days after you left this comment, and I was rather surprised at how much time you put into it. I definitely thought it was a good thing. I subscribed to it's feed on bloglines (not quite sure if I would ever use subscribing to it in itunes). And I saw you had a new update that I've been meaning to listen to, I'll probably do it today since I'm done with exams.--Budlight 14:44, 11 December 2006 (EST)

Honda 250 Scrambler

Hey Bud,

I came across your pictures of the above cycle. I had a red one in 1964, but I remember mine having a larger front tire than the rear tire. Do you have any info on that?

~Ron.

I looked for tire sizes on the Honda CL72, but haven't been able to find any information on the tire sizes just yet. I'm sure I'll find it eventually. Stuff like that can often be hard to find which is why I'm making this site. However, I still haven't decided what format to put specifications into, hence I haven't really focused on them with great intensity.--Budlight 14:41, 11 December 2006 (EST)

Edits and Subject matter Expertise.

Bud:

I saw that you stay pretty busy on here. I made some edits today by adding the XS850 Yamaha. I think you asked me "is this what you were trying to do?"

Not sure I understand.

I have a LOT to contribute to your efforts here as I am a Registered Honda Technician from 85-91 and own www.motorcyclecarbs.com and I end up having an intimate relationship with the carbs of ALL bikes. I am specifically a subject matter expert on all jap bikes from about 77-90. Exspecially inline 4's. And some dirt bikes.

I also talk to MANY international customers and gain insight on model trivia. You know. This was available from 80-82 in Germany but 80-81 in the US, etc. Also stuff like the TDM850 was also available as a TRX850 in a sport version in Europe. Lots of lil bits that could help out.

I have to ask seeing that you are very web savy, what is your IT skill set?

I like what you are doing here and find it useful. What version of wiki are you using here?

Call me some time.
