The Velocette Valiant was a two cylinder boxer, four-stroke standard produced by Velocette between 1956 and 1963. It could reach a top speed of 68 mph (110 km/h). Claimed horsepower was 11.8 HP (8.8 KW) @ 6000 RPM.
Engine[edit | edit source]
The engine was a air cooled two cylinder boxer, four-stroke. A 50.0mm bore x 49.0mm stroke result in a displacement of just 192.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a overhead valves (ohv).
Drive[edit | edit source]
Power was moderated via the dry plate.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 3.25-18 front tire and a 3.25-18 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via expanding brake (drum brake) in the front and a expanding brake (drum brake) in the rear. The front suspension was a hydralic telescopic forks while the rear was equipped with a twin shock. The Valiant was fitted with a 3.17 Gallon (12.00 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 255.74 pounds (116.0 Kg).
