The Yamaha Bolt I is one of the new bikes for the Star line-up for 2013, retailing as a 2014 motorcycle and by all means zigging while others zag. With most cruisers receiving tons of fancy accessories and bling, the Bolt goes the exact opposite way: stripped to the bare necessities, with function over form ruling as a supreme commandment and boasting a modern bobber look with an edgy approach to bike design.

The zero-compromise attitude is stressed by the uncanny, chunky 2-into-1 exhaust and the compact architecture. Somewhat classic in looks, but entirely modern in feel and technology, the 2013 Bolt is offered in a bare, solo version, but with all the customization options users can easily transform it into the bike of their dreams.

The feature-laden brother of the Bolt, the 2013 Yamaha Bolt R-Spec brings premium piggyback rear shocks to the asphalt-burning game, allowing the rider to set up the bike's response for various types of roads and providing a smoother ride for a more enjoyable experience. At the heart of the bike pounds the same 60-degree 942cc v-twin, breathing out through the Bolt-trademark chunky cylindrical exhaust.

A re-iteration of the classic bobber theme, the 2013 Bolt R-Spec brings modern design and present-day technology for a more intriguing ride. Sporting the same solo seat ex works, a plethora of accessories can be installed for turning the Bolt R-Spec into a truly personal machine. If middleweight bobbers loaded with top-notch tech are your thing, then this machine could be the one you've been looking for.

One of the smallest bikes in the Star family, the 2015 MY Yamaha Bolt aims to achieve the classic "bobber" look, but not at the expense of modern technology. It sports an air-cooled, four-stroke, 942cc V-twin tweaked for more low to mid-range revs power, thus maximizing the riders pleasure while atop this bike.

The cruiser has been designed without any unnecessary, flashy visual features, keeping true to the bobber style, yet, it still follows the Star motorcycles motto, "we build it, you make it your own", thus, a wide range of accessories is available to personalize the bike according to the rider's taste.

For riders who prefer their machines minimalist, without any unnecessary, shiny touches, but still have all the perks of modern, 21st century technology, than the 2016 MY Yamaha Bolt may be the right choice. Designed with a "bobber" style in mind, there is nothing flashy about it, but maybe its apparent simplicity is what makes it so appealing to a wide range of riders, although, after a closer inspection, you can see it is not simple at all. At its heart lies an air-cooled, four-stroke, 942cc V-twin mated to a five-speed manual transmission with a reliable belt drive. Also, unique-looking, twelve-spoked wheels add a custom touch to the bike while the compact and light-weight chassis offers a balanced handling, ideal for busy city streets, as well as longer cruises along the motorway.
