The Yamaha GX 750 was a Air-cooled, 4-stroke, DOHC, 3-cylinders Cruiser motorcycle produced by Yamaha in 1976. Claimed horsepower was 67.05 HP (50.0 KW) @ 7000 RPM.
Engine
A 68.6mm bore x 68.6mm stroke result in a displacement of just 747.0 cubic centimeters.
Drive
The bike has a 5-Speed transmission. Power was moderated via the Wet multi-discs.
Chassis
It came with a 3.25-19 front tire and a 4.00-18 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Drum in the front and a Drum in the rear. The front suspension was a Telescopic forks while the rear was equipped with a Dual shocks.
1976 - 1980 Yamaha GX 750
The GX 750, introduced in 1976, got a 3 into 2 muffler and 67HP, while its GX 750 brother had only 60 HP. This model adopted unique Yamaha technologies in features like its compact, laterally-aligned DOHC 3-cylinder engine and a maintenance-free shaft drive. The next year the GX750II was introduced with a 3 into 2 muffler and a big boost in power up to 67 hp.
