The engine was a liquid cooled single cylinder, four-stroke. A 84.5mm bore x 75.0mm stroke result in a displacement of just 421.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a single overhead cams (sohc).

ChassisEdit

It came with a 25/8-12 front tire and a 25/10-12 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via double disc. hydraulic. in the front and a double disc. sealed oil-bathed multi-disc in the rear. The front suspension was a independent double wishbone, 5 position preload adjustment while the rear was equipped with a independent double wishbone, 5 position preload adjustment. The Grizzly 450 IRS was fitted with a 4.0 Gallon (15.14 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 589.96 pounds (267.6 Kg). The wheelbase was 48.5 inches (1232 mm) long.
