The Yamaha MT-01 was a v2, four-stroke Naked motorcycle produced by Yamaha between 2005 and 2012. Max torque was 110.86 ft/lbs (150.3 Nm) @ 3750 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 88.11 HP (65.7 KW) @ 4750 RPM.

Engine[edit | edit source]

The engine was a air cooled v2, four-stroke. A 97.0mm bore x 113.0mm stroke result in a displacement of just 1670.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a overhead valves (ohv).

Drive[edit | edit source]

The bike has a 5-speed transmission. Power was moderated via the wet, multiple-disc.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 120/70-zr17 front tire and a 190/50-zr17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via double disc in the front and a single disc in the rear. The front suspension was a telescopic forks while the rear was equipped with a swing arm (link suspension). The MT-01 was fitted with a 3.96 Gallon (15.00 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 542.34 pounds (246.0 Kg). The wheelbase was 60.04 inches (1525 mm) long.

The 2004 MT-01 can be named the true brother of the amazing V-Max beast.
