The Yamaha RS200 was a twin, two-stroke Classic motorcycle produced by Yamaha between 1978 and 1981. It could reach a top speed of 85 mph (136 km/h). Max torque was 13.28 ft/lbs (18.0 Nm) @ 6000 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 21.59 HP (16.1 KW) @ 7500 RPM.
Engine
The engine was a air cooled twin, two-stroke. A 50.8mm bore x 50.8mm stroke result in a displacement of just 198.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a port control.
Drive
The bike has a 5-speed transmission. Power was moderated via the wet plate.
Chassis
It came with a 2.15-17 front tire and a 3.00-17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via expanding brake (drum brake) in the front and a expanding brake (drum brake) in the rear.
