The Yamaha RT2 was an enduro motorcycle produced by Yamaha in 1972.

History

1973 Yamaha RT-2

Launched in 1972 as an improved model of the RT1 and helped perpetuate Yamaha’s dominance of the off road market that they themselves had invented. The RT2 had detail improvements, but used basically the same 360cc engine, and works Yamaha motocross derived chassis. As with the RT1, these machines are today highly desirable by classic bike collectors and command high prices when good models come on to the market
