The Yamaha R 5 F was a twin, two-stroke standard produced by Yamaha between 1970 and 1972. It could reach a top speed of 99 mph (160 km/h). Claimed horsepower was 34.2 HP (25.5 KW) @ 7800 RPM.
Engine[edit | edit source]
The engine was a air cooled twin, two-stroke. A 64.0mm bore x 54.0mm stroke result in a displacement of just 347.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a port control.
Drive[edit | edit source]
The bike has a 5-speed transmission.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 3.00-18 front tire and a 3.50-18 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via expanding brake in the front and a expanding brake in the rear. The R 5 F was fitted with a 3.17 Gallon (12.00 Liters) fuel tank.
