The engine was a Air cooled cooled Four stroke, single cylinder, SOHC, 2 valves per cylinder.. The engine featured a 8.5:1 compression ratio.
Drive[edit | edit source]
Power was moderated via the Wet, Multiple Disc.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 3.50-19 front tire and a 4.00-16 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Single disc in the front and a Drum in the rear. The front suspension was a 35mm Telescopic fork while the rear was equipped with a Dual shocks, 5-way adjustable preload. The SR400SP was fitted with a 12 Liters / 3.2 gal fuel tank. The wheelbase was 1410 mm / 55.5 IN long.
