The Yamaha SZR660 was a single cylinder, four-stroke Sport touring motorcycle produced by Yamaha between 1996 and 1998. It could reach a top speed of 116 mph (186 km/h). Max torque was 39.83 ft/lbs (54.0 Nm) @ 5500 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 46.94 HP (35.0 KW) @ 6250 RPM.

Engine

The engine was a liquid cooled single cylinder, four-stroke. A 99.8mm bore x 99.8mm stroke result in a displacement of just 659.0 cubic centimeters.

Drive

The bike has a 5-speed transmission. Power was moderated via the Wet multi-plate.

Chassis

It came with a 110/70-17 front tire and a 150/60-17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single disc in the front and a single disc in the rear. The front suspension was a Telescopic Forks while the rear was equipped with a Monoshock. The bike weighed just 350.53 pounds (159.0 Kg).
