The engine was a Liquid cooled cooled Four stroke, parallel twin cylinder, DOHC, 5 valves per cylinder. The engine featured a 10.4:1 compression ratio.
Drive[edit | edit source]
Power was moderated via the Wet, multiple-disc coil spring.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 120/70 ZR18 front tire and a 160/60 ZR17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via 2 x 298mm discs with ABS in the front and a Single 248mm disc with ABS in the rear. The front suspension was a Telescopic fork while the rear was equipped with a Swingarm Link-type. The TDM900A GT was fitted with a 20 Liters / 5.2 US gal fuel tank. The wheelbase was 1485 mm / 58.5 in long.

Yamaha TDM 900GT
Yamaha Motor France launches a GT version of TDM 900 exclusively for France it gets a rear hull modified to fully equip two removable side bags. In the same vein, hand deflectors were installed on top of the fork, For complete protection, lower fairing were added. weights increases 23.5 kg to 249.5 kg
