The engine was a Liquid cooled cooled Four stroke, parallel twin cylinder, DOHC, 4 valves per cylinder.. The engine featured a 10.9:1 compression ratio.

Drive[edit | edit source]

Power was moderated via the Wet, multiple-disc automatic.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 120/70-15 front tire and a 160/60-15 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via 2x 267 discs in the front and a Single 267 disc in the rear. The front suspension was a 43mm Telescopic forks while the rear was equipped with a Swingarm - single shock. The TMAX 500 WGP50th Anniversary Limited Edition was fitted with a 15 Litters / 3.9 US gal fuel tank. The bike weighed just 203 kg / 447.5 lbs - ABS 208 kg / 458.5 lbs. The wheelbase was 1580 mm / 62.2 in long.

The unique red and white livery design pays homage to the iconic Yamaha Factory Racing liveries of the past with a modern twist. “I believe that the newly designed Red and White livery not only recollects our brilliant memories in the past but also makes us feel the power to create new history,” said Shigeto Kitagawa, President of Yamaha Motor Racing.
