The '''[[Yamaha]] TW200''' was a single cylinder, [[four-stroke]] Road [[motorcycle]] produced by [[Yamaha]] between 1992 and 2019. It could reach a top speed of 75 mph (120 km/h). Max [[torque]] was 11.06 ft/lbs (15.0 Nm) @ 7000 RPM. Claimed [[horsepower]] was 26.02 HP (19.4 KW) @ 8000 RPM.  

==Engine==
The engine was a [[air cooled]] single cylinder, four-stroke. A 67.0mm [[bore]] x 55.7mm [[stroke]] result in a [[displacement]] of just 196.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a single overhead cams (SOHC).  

==Drive==
The bike has a 5-speed transmission. Power was moderated via the wet-type multiplate clutch.  

==Chassis==
It came with a 130/80-18 front [[tire]] and a 180/80-14 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single disc. hydraulic in the front and a expanding brake (drum brake) in the rear. The front suspension was a  telescopic fork while the rear was equipped with a single shock. The TW200 was fitted with a 1.8 Gallon (6.81 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 259.93 pounds (117.9 Kg). The wheelbase was 52.2 inches (1326 mm) long.

Inside the chassis of the 2016 TW200 you will find a new 4-stroke, single cylinder engine. This SOHC, air-cooled engine will have a displacement capacity of 196cc. It will have mid-range power, which would be ideal for riding around your town or for off-road trips. There will be a basic instrumentation panel in this motorcycle, which would consists of resettable tripmeter, odometer, speedometer and bright indicator lights for turn signals, neutral and high beam signals. The new 2016 TW200 is set to come with an enhanced security system.

The 2016 TW200 with its scrappy little 196 cc engine is a nice learning bike, fully street legal but with that distinctive motocross-style swale seat that says you’re going off-road. On the move, the bike has nice low-end torque and you’ll feel the front end trying to come up when you get even a little twisty. Dual sport, yes, but so much about this bike just begs to be in the dirt.
