The Yamaha XJ6 Diversion F was a in-line four, four-stroke Naked motorcycle produced by Yamaha between 2009 and 2015. Max torque was 44.03 ft/lbs (59.7 Nm) @ 6100 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 75.9 HP (56.6 KW) @ 10000 RPM.

Engine

The engine was a liquid cooled in-line four, four-stroke. A 65.5mm bore x 44.5mm stroke result in a displacement of just 600.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a double overhead cams/twin cam (dohc).

Drive

The bike has a 6-speed transmission. Power was moderated via the wet, multiple disc.

Chassis

It came with a 120/70-zr17 front tire and a 160/60-zr17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via double disc. hydraulic in the front and a single disc. hydraulic in the rear. The front suspension was a telescopic forks while the rear was equipped with a linked monoshock with spring preload adjustment. The XJ6 Diversion F was fitted with a 4.49 Gallon (17.00 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 529.11 pounds (240.0 Kg). The wheelbase was 56.69 inches (1440 mm) long.

Just a few months after the release of the XJ6 Diversion, Yamaha introduced the XJ6 Diversion F model. This new version comes with a full fairing, hence the 'F' in its designation, that give the bike a more sports look, provide improved high speed stability, reduces air resistance and gives a better weather protection. This flexible all-rounder bike features a 600 cc liquid-cooled 4-cylinder engine, that was tuned to achieve great torque for an exciting acceleration.
