The Yamaha TMAX SX was a twin, four-stroke scooter produced by Yamaha between 2002 and 2019. Max torque was 39.09 ft/lbs (53.0 Nm) @ 5250 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 44.39 HP (33.1 KW) @ 6750 RPM.

Engine[edit | edit source]

The engine was a liquid cooled twin, four-stroke. A 68.0mm bore x 73.0mm stroke result in a displacement of just 530.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a double overhead cams/twin cam (dohc).

Drive[edit | edit source]

The bike has a automatic transmission. Power was moderated via the wet, multiple-disc automatic centrifugal.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 120/70-15 front tire and a 160/60-15 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via double disc. abs in the front and a single disc. abs in the rear. The front suspension was a 43mm telescopic forks while the rear was equipped with a swingarm. The TMAX SX was fitted with a 3.96 Gallon (15.00 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 361.56 pounds (164.0 Kg). The wheelbase was 62.01 inches (1575 mm) long.
