The Yamaha XS250 was a twin, four-stroke Road motorcycle produced by Yamaha between 1978 and 1979. It could reach a top speed of 71 mph (115 km/h). Claimed horsepower was 16.63 HP (12.4 KW) @ 8100 RPM.
Engine[edit | edit source]
The engine was a air cooled twin, four-stroke. A 55.0mm bore x 52.4mm stroke result in a displacement of just 249.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a overhead cams (ohc).
Drive[edit | edit source]
The bike has a 6-speed transmission.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 3.00-18 front tire and a 3.50-18 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single disc in the front and a expanding brake in the rear. The XS250 was fitted with a 4.49 Gallon (17.00 Liters) fuel tank.
