The Yamaha XS850 is a motorcycle produced by Yamaha from 1980 to 1981.

Made in the US from 80-81 Also offered in Europe in 80-82 This is an evolved version of the XS750 (a shaft drive, 2 valve per cylinder, 3 cylinder, 4 stroke) which was basically bored out in 1980 to become the 850.
