The Yamaha XS 2 E was a twin, four-stroke standard produced by Yamaha between 1971 and 1972. It could reach a top speed of 112 mph (180 km/h). Claimed horsepower was 51.9 HP (38.7 KW) @ 7000 RPM.

Engine[edit | edit source]

The engine was a air cooled twin, four-stroke. A 75.0mm bore x 74.0mm stroke result in a displacement of just 654.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a overhead cams (ohc).

Drive[edit | edit source]

The bike has a 5-speed transmission.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 3.50-19 front tire and a 4.00-18 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single disc in the front and a expanding brake in the rear. The XS 2 E was fitted with a 3.3 Gallon (12.50 Liters) fuel tank.
