Engine[edit | edit source]

The engine was a Air cooled cooled Four stroke, 70°V-twin cylinder, SOHC, 2 valve per cylinder. The engine featured a 9.0:1 compression ratio.

Drive[edit | edit source]

Power was moderated via the Wet, multiple disc.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 100/90-19 front tire and a 170/80-15 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Single 298mm disc in the front and a 200mm Drum in the rear. The front suspension was a 41mm forks while the rear was equipped with a Adjustable link Monocross. The XVS650 V-Star Custom was fitted with a 16 Liters / 4.2 US gal fuel tank. The bike weighed just 214 kg / 471 lbs. The wheelbase was 1610mm / 63.4 in long.

We started with an authentic V-twin powerplant and a lean, low-slung chassis, and then tricked it out with lots of chrome, luminous paint, and a bobtail rear fender. And thanks to its chopper profile, shaft drive, and low seat height, the end result is no ordinary custom. The V-Star 650 Custom is so stylish and unique, people will swear you must have customized it yourself. Don't worry - we won't tell a soul.
