The Yamaha XVZ12 is a touring motorcycle produced by Yamaha starting in 1983 and more commonly known as the Venture Royale.

When Yamaha created the Venture Touring Bike, it went all the way. It was also the first liquid-cooled, 4-stroke, V-4 Yamaha and featured adjustable air suspension, luggage and stereo radio as standard equipment.

The Yamaha XVZ12T was a v4, four-stroke standard produced by Yamaha between 1984 and 1988. It could reach a top speed of 119 mph (192 km/h). Claimed horsepower was 94.94 HP (70.8 KW) @ 7000 RPM.

Engine

The engine was a liquid cooled v4, four-stroke. A 76.0mm bore x 66.0mm stroke result in a displacement of just 1197.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a double overhead cams/twin cam (dohc).

Drive

The bike has a 5-speed transmission.

Chassis

It came with a 120/80-18 front tire and a 140190-16 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via dual disc in the front and a single disc in the rear. The XVZ12T was fitted with a 5.28 Gallon (20.00 Liters) fuel tank.
