The engine was a Air-cooled cooled Two stroke, piston-port, parallel twin. The engine featured a 7.5;1 compression ratio.
Drive[edit | edit source]
Power was moderated via the Wet, multi-plate clutch mounted on left side of crankshaft.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 300 x 18 front tire and a 3.25 x 18 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via 180mm twin leading shoe drum in the front and a 180mm single leading shoe in the rear. The front suspension was a 34mm Telescopic forks while the rear was equipped with a Twin shock. The YDS-6 was fitted with a 11.4 Liters / 3.0 gal fuel tank. The wheelbase was 1300 mm / 51.1 in long.
