The Yamaha YFM 700R was a Single cylinder, liquid-cooled, 4-stroke, SOHC, 4 valves per cylinder ATV produced by Yamaha in 2008.

Engine[edit | edit source]

A 101.6mm bore x 101.6mm stroke result in a displacement of just 686.0 cubic centimeters.

Drive[edit | edit source]

The bike has a 5+1 Speed transmission. Power was moderated via the Wet multi-plate.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a AT 21 x 7-10 radial front tire and a AT 20 x 10-9 radial rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Dual ventilated hydraulic discs, twin pistons in the front and a Ventilated hydraulic discs, self-adjusting park brake function in the rear. The front suspension was a Independent double wishbone w/piggy back high-lo-speed compression, rebound and threaded preload adjustment, 9.1-in travel while the rear was equipped with a Cast aluminum swing arm w/rebound, high-lo-speed compression and threaded preload adjustment, 10.1-in travel. The wheelbase was 50.39 inches (1280 mm) long.
