Engine
The engine was a Liquid cooled cooled Four stroke, single cylinder, DOHC, 4 valve. The engine featured a 10.6:1 compression ratio.
Chassis
It came with a 120/80-14 front tire and a 150/70-13 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via 2x 267mm discs 2 piston caliper in the front and a Single 267mm disc in the rear. The front suspension was a 41mm hydraulic fork while the rear was equipped with a Twin shocks. The YP400 Majesty was fitted with a 14 Liters / 3.7 US in fuel tank. The dual metallic frame is cleverly designed to give the Majesty 400 the best possible weight distribution and excellent handling in all conditions. An innovative combination of Control Filled die cast aluminum and steel means its rugged, rigid and light.

Major updates for 2007 include new cylinder, piston, air filter duct, ECU settings, exhaust manifold and muffler for improved performance and reliability. The constant variable transmission ratio has been tweaked and the clutch has been beefed up, which together with the increased engine power combine to improve low down acceleration. Twin disc brakes up front and a single disc rear provide ample stopping capability.
Handling is improved with the addition of a preload adjuster on the rear shock absorber and comfort is increased with an even plusher stitched seat that now sports a pillion backrest.
