Overview[edit | edit source]

Royal performance and Utility

Forget the limo, this is real luxury transport, and it’s not just the red carpet ride. The 2007 model Majesty 400 also offers you the greatest luxury of all - more time.

With improved acceleration and fully automatic transmission from the 400cc liquid-cooled engine, Majesty whisks you way beyond the city limits in a package that combines gridlock busting ability with superb functionality.

Both engine and chassis are wrapped in bodywork that offers comfort even some long-distance tourers can’t match, with luxurious seating that includes a passenger backrest as standard.

The Majesty 400’s large diameter wheels allow you to make the most of every gap in traffic, while also offering a super-stable ride at out of town cruising speeds. Meanwhile, chunky 41mm front forks deliver excellent steering response and the adjustable rear suspension comfortably soaks up whatever the road may throw at you. And that luxuriously appointed king and queen style seat accommodates both rider and passenger in superb comfort.

Under the all day comfortable seat lies a cavernous storage area big enough to swallow two helmets or the equivalent of 60 liters of luggage.

Just another detail that makes the Majesty 400 a very practical all rounder.

Ride the Yamaha Majesty 400 and discover what it’s like to end every journey - long or short - super cool and extra calm.

The Majesty 400 motor isn’t just environmentally friendly and fuss free,

It’s powerful too. The fuel-injected 400cc single is engineered to be economical, super smooth and ultra reliable. Like all Yamaha maxi scooters it’s fully automatic - just twist and go.

The dual metallic frame is cleverly designed to give the Majesty 400 the best possible weight distribution and excellent handling in all conditions. An innovative combination of Control Filled die cast aluminum and steel means it’s rugged, rigid and light.

The Majesty 400 displays its user friendliness and quality feel through every moment of rider/machine interaction. Check out the instruments, for example: an ideal combination of multifunction digital and analogue displays that convey the crucial information in the quickest of glances.

Major updates for 2007 include new cylinder, piston, air filter duct, ECU settings, exhaust manifold and muffler for improved performance and reliability. The constant variable transmission ratio has been tweaked and the clutch has been beefed up, which together with the increased engine power combine to improve low down acceleration. Twin disc brakes up front and a single disc rear provide ample stopping capability.

Handling is improved with the addition of a preload adjuster on the rear shock absorber and comfort is increased with an even plusher stitched seat that now sports a pillion backrest.

It’s time to roll out the red carpet for YOUR Majesty.
