The Yamaha YZF-R125 was a single cylinder, four-stroke Sport Bike motorcycle produced by Yamaha between 2008 and 2019. Max torque was 9.15 ft/lbs (12.4 Nm) @ 8000 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 10.73 HP (8.0 KW) @ 9000 RPM.

Engine

The engine was a liquid cooled single cylinder, four-stroke. A 52.0mm bore x 58.6mm stroke result in a displacement of just 124.7 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a single overhead cams (sohc).

Drive

The bike has a 6-speed transmission. Power was moderated via the wet, multiple-disc coil spring.

Chassis

It came with a 100/80-17 front tire and a 130/70-17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single disc. radial caliper with floating disc. in the front and a single disc in the rear. The front suspension was a upside-down telescopic fork, ø 41 mm while the rear was equipped with a linked monoshock with spring preload adjustment. The YZF-R125 was fitted with a 3.04 Gallon (11.50 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 278.88 pounds (126.5 Kg). The wheelbase was 53.35 inches (1355 mm) long.
