The Zero SR ZF12.5 was a Z-Force 75-7R passively air-cooled, high efficiency, radial flux, permanent high-temp magnet, brushless motor Supermotard motorcycle produced by Zero in 2015. Claimed horsepower was 67.05 HP (50.0 KW) @ 4000 RPM.

Drive

The bike has a Direct drive transmission. Power was moderated via the Clutchless.

Chassis

It came with a 110/70-17 front tire and a 140/70-17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Double discs 320mm in the front and a Single disc 240mm in the rear. The front suspension was a Showa 41 mm inverted cartridge forks while the rear was equipped with a Showa 40 mm piston, piggy-back reservoir shock with adjustable spring preload. The wheelbase was 55.51 inches (1410 mm) long.

The Zero SR features a larger 660 amp motor controller that provides 25% more power and 56% more torque. To accommodate the increased power, the Zero SR motor uses higher temperature magnets to ensure better performance during extended durations at higher speeds.
