AEON Motor is a Taiwanese company that produces small bikes, ATVs and scooters, and was founded in 1998. AEON has manufactured plastic parts for motorcycles and scooters under the name of KAUN MEI PLASTIC COMPANY LTD since the 1970s. They started operations in 1999 when they began to mass produce ATVs, mainly for the export market. The AEON Motor Co., Ltd. is operated by Chung Cheih-Lin, with almost 20 years of experience of manufacturing motorcycle parts and R&D. The first Aeon models were small displacement ones, 50cc and 100 cc, but in the year 2000 they moved on to bigger and better things and developed the first 150cc with reverse gear model. By 2001, the company was already able to produce 52,000 units per year, also releasing a new 180cc engine model.

In order to increase production, the Aeon Motor Company moved its production facility to Shan-Shang in August 2001, and taking advantage of the 33,000 square meters plant they were now able to produce even more units per year. The complete list of models is divided into three categories: ATVs (Aeon 300, Cobra 220, 320, Overland 125/180, Sporty 125/180, Cobra 50/100 and Minikolt 50), scooters (Aero, Pulsar, Echo, Argon, Regal and Nox) and mini-bikes (Mini-Bike).
