The engine was a liquid cooled single cylinder, four-stroke. A 82.0mm bore x 65.6mm stroke result in a displacement of just 346.0 cubic centimeters.
Drive[edit | edit source]
The bike has a automatic transmission. Power was moderated via the centrifugal clutch.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 21/7-10 front tire and a 20/10-9 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via double disc in the front and a single disc in the rear. The front suspension was a dual hydraulic shock, double wishbone while the rear was equipped with a single hydraulic shock, unit swing arm. The Cobra 400 was fitted with a 2.46 Gallon (9.30 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 456.36 pounds (207.0 Kg). The wheelbase was 51.18 inches (1300 mm) long.
