The Aprilia RXV 550 was a liquid-cooled, four-stroke, V-Twin Enduro motorcycle produced by Aprilia between 2007 and 2014. Max torque was 48.68 ft/lbs (66.0 Nm) @ 10900 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 70.0 HP (52.2 KW) @ 13000 RPM.

A 78.7mm bore x 78.7mm stroke result in a displacement of just 549.0 cubic centimeters.

Drive[edit]

The bike has a gears transmission. Power was moderated via the wet multi-disc, manual.

Chassis[edit]

It came with a 90/90 - 21 front tire and a 140/80 -18 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single 270mm disc, 4-piston caliper in the front and a single 240mm disc, 2-piston caliper in the rear. The front suspension was a dual-adjustable 45mm upside-down fork while the rear was equipped with a adjustable monoshock. The RXV 550 was fitted with a 0.53 Gallon (2.00 Liters) fuel tank. The wheelbase was 58.9 inches (1496 mm) long.

The 2007 MY Aprilia RXV 550 has, at its heart, a liquid-cooled, four-stroke, 549cc, V-Twin powerhouse mated to a five-speed manual transmission, and can produce a claimed 70 horsepower and 66 Nm of torque.

It comes standard with a dual-adjustable 45mm upside-down fork, an adjustable monoshock as a rear suspension, front and rear wave disc brakes, laced wheels with knobby tires mounted on them, a race-derived livery, and an Electronic Fuel Injection (EFI) system.

The biggest step up from the previous versions of the Aprilia RXV 550 machine is the electronic engine management system. This nifty off-road beast is now offered with two mappings which allow riders to tailor the response of the mill according tho their skill and to the riding scenario.

The Soft mapping offers a more gradual power delivery for bike core control over challenging surfaces. The Hard one is a full-power, savage explosion of thrust at the riders' disposal, excellent for skilled off-roaders and racers.
