A 86.4mm bore x 86.4mm stroke result in a displacement of just 493.0 cubic centimeters.

The bike has a 2 / 4 WD + Diff Lock transmission. Power was moderated via the Automatic CVT.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 25x8-12 front tire and a 25x10-12 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Hydraulic Disc in the front and a Hydraulic disc in the rear. The front suspension was a Double A-Arm while the rear was equipped with a Double A-Arm. The wheelbase was 50.0 inches (1270 mm) long.

Being a rather limited edition of the base 500 model, the 2007 Arctic Cat 500 4x4 Automatic M4 comes with a nifty camouflage color scheme which makes this ATV great for hunting. Or if you feel like blending in with the autumnal color, the M4 is the perfect choice.
